Part I:

"Meet me at the Altar"
The Wedding Directors Class

This class is designed to teach the  individual how to properly direct and manage the wedding ceremony. This class will focus on the traditional Christian Ceremony while explaining the roles and responsibilities of the Wedding Director. We will; clarify expressions and terms used in the Wedding Industry, give instruction on collecting the information needed to build the wedding day time line, review ceremony etiquette, traditions and customs, and take an in-depth look at the wedding ceremony from start to finish!

Part II:

"What it takes to Become a Wedding Planner"
For Wedding Planning, Consulting and Coordinating

This part of the class will give an in-depth look at how to establish yourself as a wedding planner, covering everything you need to know to set up your business as a Wedding Planner as well as how to plan a wedding for your client.

A partial list of topics we will cover in this class include:

• Time line preparation
• Preparing a wedding budget for your Bride
• Attacking the task list
• Ceremony and Reception Site selection

• Hiring vendors and negotiating contracts

• Preparing estimates and client packages
• Choosing ceremony music, invitations and programs
• Design concepts, centerpiece basics
• Reception Activities
• Starting your own business
• Services you can offer
• Pricing your services
• Marketing your services
• Sample Contracts and Wedding Worksheets
• BONUS:  wedding internship allowing you the opportunity to assist in the planning and execution of an actual wedding! (dependent upon the number of events scheduled)
